Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a bunny by forming a head and two ears.
- Place the bunnies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon roll bunnies and serve.
