Description

A delicious stir fry shrimp dish that is quick and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 lb shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil (more if needed)
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (more if you like it hot)
  • green onion for garnish (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, ginger, honey, and soy sauce, mix and set aside.
  2. Coat each shrimp in corn starch.
  3. Pour avocado oil into a big skillet over medium/high heat.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute on each side, or until shrimp is cooked through.
  5. If you have a small skillet, work in batches.
  6. Remove shrimp from the skillet onto a plate.
  7. Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring it to a boil. Cook for about 2 minutes.
  8. Return shrimp back to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and remove from the heat.
  9. Garnish with crushed red pepper flakes and green onion. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Cast iron skillet works best for this recipe, but a regular skillet will work.
  • You can adjust the amount of crushed red pepper to your heat preference.
